At the very least please correct the spider!!

It’s great to see this park is finally being redone. As a community centre park and attached to a primary school it really is very poor.
Right now there is a spiders web (half of it was taken away in 2020 never to be returned) but underneath it is a spider… a spider with 6 legs?! Even my 2 year old at the time questioned what terrible accident had happened to said spider for it to only have 6 legs… if animals are going to be part of a playground design please please ensure they are correctly ‘legged’ to avoid confusion.
In all seriousness as much as the spider does annoy me, it would be lovely to see a more natural playground with challenge and enrichment for all children. I’d absolutely love to see the parent and child swings that they have at Victoria park, some high and lower monkey bars and a decent slide. If it’s going to be done I’d love to see it sturdy enough to withstand time and lots of children- as previously mentioned so so many members of the community use it.
The new wooden park at Petersfield lake is a prime example of a decent park which promotes challenge and enrichment especially for the 4-12 age range.
