Bigger, more natural materials more variety!

This has the potential to be such an incredible park - there is so much space!! Even now (with the state that it's in) it is used so much by children especially after school, but it is always rammed full, especially in the warmer months because there simply isn't enough equipment for the amount of people using it!
Id love to see a more natural approach to the design and agree with many of the other contributers. Make use of natural materials - a wood based park would be amazing and also make the most of the awesome setting.
Id love to see different areas for different ages, as someone with 3 kids of different ages this park doesn't really cater to them all at the same time.
Zip wire and a couple of monkey bar options would be really great for primary school kids and I'd love to see more climbing equipment suitable for preschoolers as the existing small slide and baby swings is just not enough.
I agree regarding that tall slide being a huge liability/safety hazard and that increased security will be needed to reduce vandalism.
I also know having a local splash park would be INCREDIBLE and would make this area used even more by the community.
Thanks in advance!
