It is about time this park was redone. As the main park that serves a community centre it really is poor. My son was involved in a nasty accident here that has left a scar on his face where fittings were left sticking out of the ground.
It would be great to see a sectioned park with a toddler section, a eyfs section and an older area, complete with parent and child double swings, monkey bars, high and low, slides and maybe a climbing wall. It would be an absolute dream for springwood to have a splash pad similar to the ones in Portsmouth too.
Really looking forward to finally having a safe and challenging park to be proud of!

Another really useful comment regarding having separated sections for different age groups here.
Please be aware that whomever we appoint to install the new items will have to provide evidence that their equipment and processes adhere to strict health and safety requirements. We also have maintenance procedures in place to prevent accidents from happening as best as we can. I am sorry this has failed you in the past and assure you we will do everything we can to make this site safe for all it's users.
Any suggestions on how we can make them safer is always welcomed
