Development density, location and retail

In my opinion Havant Borough residents have enough retail outlets within easy reach.
Housing provision in town centres at a reasonably high density is of value for single and two person households. However, the borough is one of towns, each with it's own character. No high rise development should be allowed over 4 storeys high as it would be out of character with the towns in the borough.
No development should be allowed on land prone to flood risk.
No development should be allowed in areas of outstanding natural beauty. These should be protected for our and future generations to enjoy and to allow wildlife and fauna to thrive.
The potential to build 500 residential units within our small borough without huge compromise to the each of our individaul lives is hard to fathom. The infrastructure and public facilities are already under daily strain. H B C should say no to building such a lage number of extra houses, particuarly when neighbouring boroughs are house building at scale close to the Borough's borders.
