Is this one of the most important things that would help you to be active?

This covers physical facilities being close to your home that you can access, ranging from a leisure centre and swimming pool to a local sports ground or pitch near you to allow you to play organised sports.

If you are voting for this, we'd love to hear more about why this would be helpful for you and what impact this could have on your life.

Please change the tennis courts back to free to play rather than having to book and pay for this facility that has been free for many years. The courts were used by many of the local residents and as one of the few free activites that were available helped with peoples health and welbeing. Since they were change there has been hardly any use of them. I pass by the courts in Bedhampton several times a day and there are rarely ever used now. It is an activity that can be used by all ages and, weather permitting, all year round.
There is nothing in my local area for 9 to 16 year olds. All of the local parks are set up for younger children and toddlers. What we need is a pump track or similar specifically designed to accommodate the progression of younger to early teenage children’s riding skills. Such a facility will encourage this age group to continue regular exercise outside of school, bolstering riding skills and making it more likely to continue with cycling based sports into adulthood. It will also help combat local problem caused by bore/idle children being a nuisance. I have also witnessed older riders, myself included (50+), regularly using such facilities, provided they are designed appropriately.
