Staunton Country Park is a major green space in Leigh Park in Havant. it’s important for the well being for residents. It’s the environmental non coastal heart of Havant.

The new reservoir will drastically change the Staunton/Havant thicket area. The green open space at Campdown area (HSDCollege area) will be a huge loss for wildlife and nature lovers if developed for houseing. Wildlife needs to be protected and encouraged, a great opportunity here, which could provide connection as a green corridor. Especially important when so many other areas have now been developed.
