Design should be varied, so as to not have a rows of identical homes.
Certainly the borough need more affordable homes -but not more expensive new builds. There are plenty of expensive homes to be found at estate agents. HBC need to ask themselves,'Who is the Local Plan for? The residents? Or the developers?'
