Could the current energy cost crisis be an opportunity to encourage older Havant residents to move from their oversized homes to more suitable accommodation. McCathy +Stone or Churchill developments are OK for some, but perhaps some small apartment blocks (with a lift) and say a roof garden might be tried in developments. This could be supplemented with help in sorting out house sales, moving, fitting out - there must be many who would like to move but no longer have the energy or confidence to do it. This would then free up housing for families. Is it worth a try?
