Skate park
From "Springwood Play Area"
Go to the project
I have children that like to play in the park area but have a son that finds that boring quite often will use his scooter and jumps of benches etc a skate park next to a play park would be great so I can entertain all 3 children on one area

Hi Karen. I think this is a great suggestion for possible activities that could take place outside of the playpark itself.
I should say that this type of instalment would require external funds to be raised as the funding for the play area has to be used on items you would more commonly associate with play areas.
This doesn't mean that a project like a skatepark can't happen, but it would need to be led by a community group that is supported by the council. If you know anyone who might be interested in setting up a group like this we would be happy to discuss this sort of project with them.
