I'm very keen to take part in waterborne activity, unfortunately this is becoming increasingly difficult on Hayling Island for the following reasons:
1) access to the water, increasingly public access to the waters around Hayling island is becoming prohibitively expensive or non existent. Public slipways are becoming less accessible and being removed.
2) Specifically the access around west beach has been reduced due o the mismanagement of the sea defences and the loss of the car park.
3) Pollution by Southern Water of the harbours and seas around Hayling Island is unacceptable and creates a less than pleasant environment for use of the waters and sometimes, one dangerous to health and well being

4) just been up to west beach car park and guess what they have been moving the shingle again and the car park is a mess again !!!!
It’s got great big puddles in it and a muddy mess in places , come on Havant works management keep on top of this your contractors
are taking the mick out of you and we all suffer . Hopefully you will do something about this before the next autumn school break !!!!
