Future Play Area Refurbishments
Part of our aim is to enable quality spaces for children to play in all areas of the borough. Our plan is to continue delivery of improvements to our play parks and open spaces to maintain and enhance play provision throughout the borough. This is all part of our new Corporate Strategy which you can read on our website.

Sites are continually reviewed and refurbishment projects prioritised based on the condition of the existing play equipment and its anticipated life expectancy, the quality of equipment, the play value and enjoyment opportunity for children. It also considers the geographical availability of existing high quality play provision and its accessibility for all residents.
